This week is a week of celebration for many people. Friday is the last day of Hanukkah; Monday is the Winter Solstice, and Christmas Day only is one week away. We decided to get back to basics this week. Instead of breaking out new fabrics, we are going to highlight the one that inspired The Kindness Factory into being.
Inspired by Dr. Bonnie Henry, this week we want to put kindness into action. Dr. Henry reminds us that while we can't always control the world around us, we can control our response.
So this #FabricFriday, for every Be Kind mask that we sell, we will donate $1 to Red Cedar Cafe, a not-for-profit community meal program for people in need in Victoria, BC. This is in addition to our weekly mask donations. If you would like to learn more about the work Red Cedar does, please click HERE.
We have to wear masks - we may as well have a bit of fun with them.
Have a great weekend everyone! 😷❤️ And stay safe.
